Gilberton flooded due to water overflow during bridge construction. Everyone knew it was not a natural disaster because it only rained 3 1/2 inches that day. The construction company did not manage the project properly.
During the flood of 2006, it rained 17 inches. Residents floated down Main Street in canoes. In 2018, I was able to salvage the trailer by towing it just in time. In 2020, the trailer flooded all the way up to the ceiling. It happened fast. Richard called me but it was too late.
One of the plaster Santas was in there. When I found it, it had separated into three pieces. I called it a trinity. On July 18, 2020 Patrick and I dug three holes around the trailer and buried Santa.
